Join us on 06 October 2026 for a R&I conference to explore current trends in the Applied AI in Business and Education: Research, Innovation, and Responsibility. Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping both business practices and educational systems, from decision-making and process automation to teaching, learning, and assessment. The conference focuses on research-based, practice-oriented AI applications that create value in business and higher education while addressing sustainable, social, and organizational implications.

Conference Tracks

Researchers, innovators, start-ups, students and regional stakeholders will exchange ideas, showcase results and forge new partnerships across three thematic tracks:
• Track 1 - Applied AI in Business: use cases, innovation processes, and organizational change
• Track 2 - AI in Education: teaching (with) AI, learning analytics, assessment, and faculty development
• Track 3 - Sustainability, Responsibility, and Trust: bias, transparency, and (societal) implications

Instructions for Speakers

Your contribution is more than welcome in any of the following form:
• oral presentation in any parallel plenary session: short impulse talks or panel connecting the three themes, 15-minute presentation followed by 5-minute discussion is expected,
• oral presentation in a technical session: 15-minute presentation followed by 5-minute discussion, interactive formats are encouraged (case discussions, short presentations, or panels covering all three tracks),
• presentation in a poster session with active discussions covering all three tracks. The poster followed by instruction with 5-minute pitch presentation is required.

For management of abstracts and presentations we plan to use the Ulysseus Event Platform (Indico) you are currently visiting. To enable the full use of the platform's features, we advise potential speakers to log in to the platform, before submitting the abstract.
