DESCRIPTION:Participatory methods\, accessibility and inclusion\nHarmonisi
ng approaches to equality\, diversity\, and inclusion\, and community enga
gement in the Ulysseus University Alliance\n \n>> AFTER YOUR REGISTRATION
JOIN THE WORKSHOP HERE\n \nThis workshop explores the dynamic role of pa
rticipatory methods in research and educational contexts. By integrating i
nnovative methodological approaches and critical inquiry\, the event aims
to advance Ulysseus' vision of a truly inclusive European University. Emph
asising diversity as a fundamental asset\, the workshop promotes fair part
icipation and fosters collaborative partnerships that connect academic ins
titutions with society at large.\nThe workshop will focus on how participa
tory and inclusive methods can challenge established hierarchies of knowle
dge production\, embrace a plurality of expertise\, and actively involve u
nderrepresented or marginalised groups throughout research and educational
processes. This approach not only democratises knowledge but also enriche
s outcomes by incorporating perspectives often overlooked in conventional
settings.\nSpeakers will show how participatory\, accessible and inclusive
methods can:\n·       advance diversity and inclusion within resea
rch methodologies and pedagogical practices\n·       strengthen com
munity engagement and encourage reciprocal knowledge exchange\n·
facilitate co-creation of knowledge with local communities and divers
e stakeholders\n·       drive institutional transformation by embed
ding inclusive and democratic practices into university structures and cul
tures\nThis event is organized as part of the work of the Ulysseus Univers
ity Alliance. Ulysseus places particular emphasis on EDI topics and has an
entire work package\, coordinated by the University of Genoa\, Italy\, de
 dicated to these themes.\n \n\nhttps://events.ulysseus.eu/event/44/
